Ooopps!!! So sorry; I'm not doing very well now am I?! Okay, quick update: I am so happy!! God has blessed me with the greatest man, and I am very much loving getting to know him, doing devotions with him, and watching God grow us both; closer to each other and ultimately closer to Him!! I'd love to get more in depth about it but do not have the time today. Just thought I ought to say something so that I don't forget I have a blog again :) Next time I will talk about what I think is one of the biggest key to a good relationship: communication. Good Thursday morning to y'all!! I had forgotten how nice it is to be up before the sun and be able to watch it rise!!! :) We miss a lot of beauty while we are sleeping.
 I had to take my sister to work at 5 this morning and decided it wasn't worth it to get back in bed when I got home, 'cause I have to work a bit later. So here I am! I thought I'd share something I came up with the other day during devotions... 'A wise person learns from their mistakes, but a wiser person learns from someone else's.' Interesting. I had always thought you were a pretty smart person if you did something wrong and realized it and learned from that, but really if you think about it, every wrong thing ever done, every stupid decision, has already been made by someone somewhere in history. Nothing is new under the sun, someone has done it! So, why have to do it yourself to learn that it's not such a smart idea?! Learn from the other person and then you'll never have to experience it for yourself!
 Well that's my piece of wisdom for the day. Time for me to get in gear! Bible time, work-out, shower, chores, journaling and then work. That's my day!!

What is womanhood?

Beauty and style are not the surest passports to womanhood- some of the noblest examples of womanhood in the world have looked quite plain in outward appearance. A woman's worth is to be estimated by the real goodness of her heart, the greatness of her soul, and the purity and sweetness of her character; and a woman with a kindly disposition and well-balanced temper, is both lovely and attractive, even if her face is plain and her figure imperfect; she makes the best of wives and the truest of mothers. She has a higher purpose in living then the beautiful yet vain and supercilious woman, who has no higher ambition then to flaunt her finery on the street, or to gratify her inordinate vanity by extracting flattery and praise from society, whose compliments are as hollow as they are insincere.

'Monday :(' or 'Monday :)' ?

I woke up very happy this morning. Not for any particular reason, I just felt good about the day and was ready to get up and get going!! Then I got to thinking... usually I HATE Mondays! Just something about it; the weekend is over, work and school both start up again. Its just a slow day for me. I had it in my mind that Mondays are gonna be bad. I think our outlook has a lot to do with the way things turn out. When we expect something to go wrong, it often times does. But when we look at things in a positive light it's easier for it to go well! Just my little revelation for the day:) Hope it encourages you!

This is a great reminder for today. I feel like people are always trying to be like somebody else. Someone "cool", famous, or popular. We need to be copy-cats of God, not other people. This says it perfectly:
 You and I were created by God to be so much more then normal... Following the crowd is not a winning approach to life. In the end its a losers game, because we never become who God intended us to be by trying to be like someone else. ~ Tim Tebow
